First:
We are making this call for the Party of the Cuban Poetry, in solidarity with the rave event of artistic liberation Rotilla Festival.

Our call is open to all people, Cuban citizens or from any other part of the world, without distinction of race, creed or social condition, as long as people can contribute with knowledge and beauty. We believe knowledge and beauty can be found in war and peace, in sorrow and happiness, in darkness and light, in nature, amidst complete calm or in explosion, and in any phenomenon of human civilization.
You can participate in one or in the three options of the call.

Poetry without End is part of the tradition of winter festivals, very connected with sacred dates and celebrations of December. Poetry without End is a poetic ship that carries the happiness and expectations of a city, from one year to another, it is a festival associated to rebirth, and connected to the forces of nature and the central sun light that brings balance and poetic integration to the world.

THE SITES WILL WORK AS SPACES TO SHARE ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FESTIVAL FROM ALL PARTS OF THE PLANET

1- II call for participation with audio visual materials: Video-poem and Video-reading.
All poets are welcome to participate, without distinction of nationality or language, with one or several video-readings or video-poems in digital format.
 
-What is a video-reading? It is you or several people reading your own work or works from other authors in front of a video camera, in a nice setting, in order to share this with the public that will attend the Festival´s events during December.
-What is a video-poem? There are several concepts, the simplest one is: inspiration or poetic idea expressed through audio-visual means.

-The videos will have a maximum length of three minutes. A brief audio- visual self-introduction of the poet will be requested. Both materials will be presented in the poet’s native language.

-The video will be sent in CD or DVD, using a format that can be played in Windows or Mac.
In a separate document the author will include a résumé, personal information and a statement that expresses the author’s willingness to participate with their work in the Festival Poetry without End 2011/JOURNEY OF LIGHT. The author will also express their permission for the festival to use fragments of their work in the promotional material and the full work in a future multimedia of the Festival.

-All materials received before October 31st will be displayed and included in the catalogue and the archives of Poetry without End. 

-Works can be sent with people traveling to Cuba or to the following mailing address:

2-You can be part of the 13th World Festival Poetry without End 2011/ Journey of Light.

-We summon all our friends from around the world to participate actively in the Festival Poetry without End during the month of December 2011.

-Any act of celebration that brings together two or more people in any part of Cuba or the rest of the world: at a park, in a house, in the street, in a theater, or in any public or private venue, made on behalf of the Festival will be considered part of the Festival´s program.

-A reading of poetry or any other literary work

-Any event where artists such as musicians, poets, actors, get together, no matter how simple or small it might be, can also be considered an event of the World Festival Poetry without End, 2011

-Likewise, the Festival Poetry without End can match its program with any artistic event, or positive family party or friends gathering that take place during December 2011.

-You can send a notice of your event before October 31st if you want it to be included in the Festival´s program. Contact us at:

- Address:
- Brief description of the event:
- A personal image or an image created to represent the event and its author or authors.

-Once the event has taken place it is important to send:
 A brief writen summary of the development of the event
One photogragh (minimum), five (maximum) of the event.
You can upload a video of your event in Youtube and send us the link (optional)
Lyrics and poems or images of pieces of art can also be sent if they are part of the event.

3 -II Photographic Expo-projection: The Adventure of Beauty.
-We summon all professional or amateur artists of photography, from Cuba or any other part of the world, to participate.

-You can send from one to three photographs (1MB maximum) to this email address: festivalmundialpoesiasinfin@gmail.com

-Photo-montages are not accepted.

-All photographs sent will be displayed in our websites and a group of guest artists will make a selection to display the photos during the days of the festival and as part of the Expo experimental display.

-Each author is requested to send a Word document with the following personal data:
- Name:
- Brief résumé or self introduction.
- Country of residence.
- Contacts:
- Brief note to authorize the display of the photos and their use in the future multimedia material for the 13th anniversary of the Festival Poetry without End.

-All pieces sent by their authors to País de pixeles (www.blogsdecuba.impela.net/2011/04/concurso-pais-de-pixeles-2011/) will be considered suitable for the selection that will be made for Expo The Adventure of Beauty.

-All photograph event are welcome to be matched to ours, you just have to let us know.
